[I'm an in-network provider with X, Y, Z / I'm an out-of-network provider and can supply a superbill for you to submit to your insurance / I don't work with insurance directly, but many clients use out-of-network benefits or HSA/FSA funds to cover sessions]. If you're not sure what your plan covers, I'm happy to help you figure out what questions to ask them.
Our first session together is about getting to know each other — no pressure, no agenda beyond that. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, a little about your history, and what you're hoping will feel different. You can ask me anything too. By the end, we'll have a sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together might look like.
Sessions run [45/50/60] minutes. Most clients start out meeting weekly — that consistency tends to build momentum early on. As things shift, we can talk about spacing sessions out.
You don't need a crisis to start therapy — wanting things to feel different is reason enough. If you're asking the question, that's usually a sign it's worth a conversation. A [free 15-minute] consultation call is a low-pressure way to find out without committing to anything.
I ask for at least [24/48] hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. [Cancellations made after that window, or missed sessions, will be charged the full session fee.] Life happens — if something comes up, just reach out as soon as you can.
That depends on what you're working on and what you're hoping to get out of it — some clients come for a few months around a specific issue, others stay for ongoing support over years. We'll check in regularly about how things are progressing and what pace makes sense for you.
Yes. What you share in session stays between us, with a few narrow legal exceptions — like risk of harm to yourself or someone else, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. I'll walk you through the specifics before we begin, so there are no surprises.
[I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, so you can choose what fits your life / All of my sessions are virtual, so you can meet with me from anywhere in [state] / My office is located at [location], and I currently see clients in person only]. Whatever we land on, the goal is the same: a space where you feel able to be honest.
I work primarily with [anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, etc. — specific to the practice]. If what you're facing doesn't fall clearly into that, reach out anyway — I'm glad to talk it through, and if I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who is.
[Book a free consultation call / Send me a message / Fill out the contact form] and I'll get back to you within [1–2 business days]. From there, we'll find a time for an initial session and get you set up with everything you need before we meet.
